In His Radiance

You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do men light a lamp and put it under a peck measure, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all in the house. Let your light so shine before men that they may see your moral excellence and your praiseworthy, noble, and good deeds and recognize and honor and praise and glorify your Father Who is in heaven. Matt5:14-16

That's a few songs i've been listening to lately, and incase anyone that reads my blog has the same music taste as me then these are good songs. Hurricane by Bob Dylan is a bit different from the rest but i added it here because i really like it. It is based on a true story and is the theme song to the movie "The Hurricane" (i think that's what it was called). It describes the life of a man who faced extreme prejudice. The movie is well worth watching. Jessies Girl is also different from the rest but i was attracted to it because the tune actually reminded me of the song "Hurricane". Listening to them both now they don't sound so similar but at the time i heard it on the radio it sounded very alike. Regardless, it is still a good song.

Just a little message for Warwick; Do you remember that first serman you did about the prayer balloons? Well, my balloon is still alive. It's dying, but it still has air in it. I've been waiting for it to actually shrivell up for the past few weeks, when i noticed it became significantly smaller so i could post a blog of the finished prayer balloon, but that time has not yet come. Do you know how long ago you preached? I certainly don't.
